INFO & FEES
The SouthWest Ohio Catfish Club was formed in the Fall of 2008 after much talk about the need for a local catfishing tournament trail. It took some time but finally with other local anglers we agreed that there was indeed enough interest to start the ball rolling. All tournaments held in 2010 will take place on the Ohio River. Stay tuned and check back with us through the year for updates. The SWOCC is set up where anyone can be a club member for free, no obligation. We would like to have your email address so we can email you about club events only! The only fees are to participate in one of the clubs tournaments. Officers will determine how many places will be given based on number of entries but typically will go at least 3 places. The club payouts will be 92% (cash) with additional items given as donated from our sponsors. These same items will be used for raffles and each event will also have a 50/50 raffle where all the proceeds will be split between the club and the winning ticket, you must be present at weigh in to claim raffle and 50/50 winnings.
We plan to expand, grow interest in the sport, teach conservation ethics and mold anglers of the whiskered spirit together in a fun yet competitive way to share and learn about the pleasures of catfishing.
Boat entries are limited to no more then 3 folks on a boat, max of 6 rods ( see Club Rules regarding having a 3rd person team and using more then 2 rods per person ) an each team will pay $60 per boat (cash please) which includes the BIG FISH payout. The two day Championship tournament's entry fee will be $100 per boat,
